That will be good for 7 days - plenty of time to listen to the class.&nbsp; Let me know, and I'll tell you when the entire class series has been archived.&nbsp; </p><p>Anyway, I also had a team mate, LeeAnn McVey, who had just gone over a powerpoint presentation on autoresponders.&nbsp; Both Mike and LeeAnn recommended <strong>iContact</strong>&nbsp;as a good <a href="http://www.icontact.com/a.pl/250416" target="_blank"><strong>contact management system</strong></a>.&nbsp; Since this is the system the Renegade University is using in its tutorials, I decided to go with it.&nbsp; The cost is $9.95 a month.&nbsp; As my list and needs grow, I can upgrade, but this should do me for a while.</p><p>Another system I have heard a lot about is <a href="http://www.aweber.com/?293091">Aweber</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<font style="color: #000000;" color="#000000"> Cost for this service is $19.95 a month. It is also a tool to capture visitor sign ups, send unlimited emails and newsletters.&nbsp; </font></p><p><font style="color: #000000;" color="#000000">Still a third option is Oprius. I'm starting to hear a lot of good things about this one because of it's many features including color coding your interactions with customers to keep track of exactly where you are in the sales process.&nbsp; This is tremendously helpful in terms of followup because when you are dealing with hundreds of customers, it's easy to confuse where you are with a given individual.&nbsp; This system keeps you email, contact info, calendar and autoresponder all in one place.&nbsp; The only thing I don't know yet is the deliverability rate.&nbsp; This, of course is incredibly important cause if your messages don't get to your list, it doesn't really matter how organized they are!</font></p><p><font style="color: #000000;" color="#000000">What I valued about these services is that they&nbsp;help ensure that your emails are compliant with the law.&nbsp; They are highly reputable and therefore there is a much greater&nbsp;chance your email campaigns will actually arrive at their destination and not be thrown out as spam.&nbsp; Your clients have an opt in and opt out option so only those who wish to receive messages from you will remain on your list.&nbsp; Your address will also appear on each email you send - which is required by law.&nbsp; This was news to me...thank you Mike Klingler!&nbsp;&nbsp;</font></p><p><font style="color: #000000;" color="#000000">It does raise a question for home businesses, though.&nbsp; If you are running your business from your home, I don't recommend using your personal address in your email campaigns. Most of the time, this should cause no problem, but I'm sure you realize why it might make some uncomfortable.&nbsp;The answer might be to get a post office box or a private mailbox. As long as you are registered at the United States Post Office or througha compliant mail service, the FTC says it is ok.&nbsp;Be safe! The company forwards that customer to the website of one of its distributors according to geographical proximity.</p><p>My first mlm was a big enterprise, and I live in the same city as corporate headquarters.&nbsp; There are thousands and thousands of distributors out there.&nbsp; I had the site for 8 months before the first customer was referred to me, and it may well be another 8 months or more before I get another.&nbsp; That ain't gonna pay the bills!</p><p>What's the solution?&nbsp; Develop a web presence that is <em>yours</em>.&nbsp; You can do this by social marketing, blogs, or build your own website.&nbsp; It isn't as difficult as it sounds.&nbsp; The point is that you can develop a relationship with your future customers and/or downline by presenting yourself as a knowledgeable expert in your field.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;Most mlms will not allow you to mention their name or products on the web.&nbsp; But that's ok, because you don't want to be specific about your product or service&nbsp; at first.&nbsp;Do not fill your website with ads for your opportunity.&nbsp; Instead, give useful information.&nbsp; Put yourself in your target audience's shoes and imagine what their problems might be, or questions they may have.&nbsp; Then provide the information they are looking for on your site.&nbsp; As they come to respect your opinion, they'll be willing and <em>wanting</em> to learn more.&nbsp;&nbsp; And that's when you will begin to <strong>build traffic!</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>For a relatively easy website at a low cost, you can go to <a href="http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-2901084-10378406%22%20target=%22_top%22%3Ewww.GoDaddy.com" target="_blank"><font style="color: #a863a8;" color="#a863a8"><strong>GoDaddy</strong></font></a>, which is also a great place to buy domain names.&nbsp; For a more extensive program, try <a href="http://www.sitesell.com/Barbara1.html97.html" target="_blank"><font style="color: #a863a8;" color="#a863a8"><strong>SiteBuildIt</strong></font></a>.&nbsp; It will take more time to get your website up - it took me about six weeks to really get it going, but you are given every thing you could possibly need to know.&nbsp; You are given step by step instructions on how to write your articles, which keywords to use and exactly where to place them.&nbsp; If you place a link on your site incorrectly, you will get an email notifying you of the broken link.&nbsp; Not only are there guides and tutorials, but there are forums on every conceivable topic, where SBIers can get answers to their questions.&nbsp; The tracking system is already built in, as are ready-made templates, for those who do not wish to create their own.&nbsp; Or you may choose to sell directly from your site.&nbsp; I drive traffic to my company site by providing a small discount to people who link to the company site from my Skin You Love site.&nbsp; </p><p>So, remember, replicated company websites are good for sales, not attracting customers.&nbsp; Your own website can both attract customers and drive that traffic to your company site.&nbsp; Or, you can keep them on your site and sell from there by setting up a virtual "store."&nbsp; Do you absolutely <em>have</em> to have a website?&nbsp;
